1943-5 George Dennison War-Time Sketches
George served as a DADAPS during the Burma Campaign of 1943-1945.
This is a selection of some of the drawings he made while on active service in the Far East.
A Base Army Post Office was established in Calcutta to handle the British and African troops mail of the XIV Army. From there it was forwarded by rail to Imphal and then trucked or flown to the forward Field Post Offices.
