Photos from 1 Regiment and Hannover – including the affiliation parade with Nachschubattalion 1 in Hannover with Brig Jack Bridge inspecting the fourth (Composite) Squadron made up from Dusseldorf and Rheindahlen. I was in it from HQ BAOR Directorate. It was on a very cold Sunday in Hannover when the Germans paraded in the morning for rehearsal in their parkas and we in our woolly pulleys. Several Germans fainted with cold. The Brits stood rigid!!
